So my brother who never worked a day in his life has been living with our dad in Guyana for a while helping my dad out. He has a girlfriend over there for 2 years long distance and now she's pregnant.

How can he bring her over to the states? Im not sure how it works with a baby involved. She should be having her baby in july.

He has to earn enough to support 3 people in order to sponsor her and the baby, currently $25,200. If he's "never worked a day in his life," he'll probably ask you (or somebody) to be a co-sponsor.

I highly doubt his job history will have any bearing if he is able to find a co sponsor that meets the requirements.

Many people (myself included) sponsor their immigrant spouses/fiancé's as college students with little to no work experience and have had no issues. Granted I understand my fiancé was from a low-fraud country.

USCIS does not care about the baby until it is born, then the baby is included in the family financial support documents.

That's a very good point and I've learnt something new there. However should USCIS care though, let's say she's is carrying triplets for instance, that is a significant increase to the household size don't you think and makes a difference to the calculations.

Best hope the lady keeps her legs crossed until the application has ran its course before giving birth as even at the interview stage there is the opportunity to state if any material changes have occurred and increase to household size is definitely a material change.

The size of the household is a required element for using this USCIS document: https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . Which certainly comes into play later on during the AOS process.
