Everything will be fine and you'll be so happy to hear you're approved that you won't know whether to laugh, cry, fall down on the floor, or like me, open a bottle of wine!

Received By Montreal Consulate: January 4, 2007

Packet Three Arrives: January 12, 2007

Packet Three Enters Montreal System: January 17, 2006

Email Attempt One: February 13, 2007 -- No Date; estimated 4 months from Receipt Date

Phone Call One: March 16, 2007 -- No Date: estimated 6 months from Receipt Date

Email Attempt Two: March 27, 2007 -- No Date

Phone Call Two: April 13, 2007: No Date: She said that while no date is scheduled, they're moving toward our date of January 17th and that late May seems likely for an interview.

Phone Call Three: April 17, 2007 -- No Date: Our interview should be within the 6-8 week timeframe.

Letter from Congressional Representative: We have a backlog of up to six months for appointments. It is doubtful we will be able to accommodate him before June.

Phone Call Four: Montreal gives Jon an interview date of May 9th -- that's next week. And supposedly Packet 4 is in the mail.

we're leaving late tuesday night, early morning wednesday. yours is a day before mine, and i wish you luck. we're not bringing our laptop so we wont have too much baggage to worry about, so i hope when i get back thursday night that i read all about how wonderful your experience was! i lived in michigan for 15 yrs before moving to canada for a while, so for me it's a little different. i'm so excited to see everything again, my old house, schools, college, old friends, and of course my husband's family which i miss so much. i'm getting so excited and anxious and emotional. i wish you the best.

[27-03-2006] Touched? (The last modification was on that date. shrugs)

[30-06-2006] Received and sent the IMBRA RFE.

[11-07-2006] Touched --> USCIS received the IMBRA RFE.

[11-09-2006] NOA2!!

[22-11-2006] Montreal received DS-230 on/before November 22

[12-04-2007] Interview!!!

[13-04-2007] K-1 Visa issued after 13 months of waiting.

[19-05-2007] Wedding

[24-07-2007] Paperwork for AoS sent

[11-15-2007] Green Card received

1 year+ for a K-1 Visa. Who would've thought...

i cant describe how it felt to tell people at work today that i get to go and pick up mephys to stay with me forever NEXT WEEK already. it was like the most amazing feeling next to her saying "Yes" when I asked her to marry me. To know that a night will never pass without her eyes being the last thing I see and her kiss the last thing I feel before dreaming about her all night long. Its almost as its unreal sometimes to think that the process is almost over (the seperation part of course) and we get to work on the beginning of our LIFE together and enjoy all that we have ever wanted to. I am so tired of being the person on the other end of the computer and not being able to be myself and for that Mephys I am sorry, I wanted nothing more than to be 100% the man you fell in love with all the time, but being apart from you and only getting comfort by a 20.1 widescreen :whistle: monitor made that entirely too difficult I love you more than ever and nothing in life will make me as happy as the day we wed, I look forward so much for all this stress to be out of your life so that you can enjoy all that I have to offer you. See you SOON baby.....

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

When I said to my friends I would move to the US to go with a divorced man that has 3 kids and doesnt speak french, they all called me crazy!!! But now I think people understand why..... Hes the most amazing and wonderful man I could have ever dreamed of!!! :blush: And he cooks awesome food! :luv:

IF you ever get to sleep :whistle::lol:

I couldnt sleep the last 2 nights and the day at work burned me completely yesterday...so after falling asleep at 4am last night I decided not to go to work today! And I woke up around 1pm today....so yeah all of a sudden there is less time!

And now its only 14 hours.. :hehe:
