hi greenbaum. heres a copy of my husbands receipt

and i dont know if the 1620php he paid is the traveltax

Be very careful the travel tax people seem to very inconsistent. Make sure they don't charge you again. If you have a greencard, I have read of many cases of them scamming the person and making them pay 1650 pesos.

I have never heard of that one. They do charge a P200 waiver fee most times, and I have heard from a few that recently have been through NAIA and weren't even charged the P200, but never have I heard of them trying to scam an extra P1620... you got a link to any of this or is it just PFA?

Some airlines will collect the fees and others do not. You indicated that you made the call to PAL but to be on the safe side review your tickets to ensure it was charged. If in the event it was not be sure to have extra cash available to pay. Just a suggestion.

Good luck to both of you and safe travels

Thanks Greenbaum, I am not yet included in their travel though. I will post a new topic after she got hold of her greencard so I could ask the experts opinion and guidance. :)

Btw, I have the same as Awesome22's breakdown of charges. All taxes and fees included.

Better to be safe and check your ticket then to find out later and not be prepared. Safe travels

My wife has never paid any fee to leave Philippine after she received her greencard. I have actually read on this site last year and on Living in Cebu Forum as well.
