Hi good day i just want to ask sir/mam i was applied for tourist visa 3 years ago but i didnt continue the schedule for the interview and appointment in USEmbassy because for some reasons.. Now, my bf will petition me as a K1 Visa. Does my k1 application will affect because i applied before for tourist visa?

And i want to ask also if should i present a Police clearance in United Arab Emirates because, i been working for two years there.. But they said, Only resident of the emirate they can issue a PC. I hope you can help me in my case. Thank you Sir/Mam. God bless.

No your previous tourist visa application will not affect you, and are you in the Philippines now, or the UAE?

Hindi po your tourist visa application will not interfere with the K1 visa at all. If I remember correctly the UAE has started issuing police clearances even if you are abroad right now. There is a topic over in the Philippines sub-forum specifically talking about it and how you can get it.

@cyber... Thank you po.

I also read in the article they are not issuing Pc if you're not resident..

You should submit to national visa center A copy of your police clearance issued from UAE. Then when your interview come you can present the original of your police clearance. They can issue a police clearance because I was working there also in UAE before I go back here Philippines after finished my two years contract but they issued then need translate Arabic to English you can pay 100 dirham for translation in English because our embassy they require must translate in English. The police station in UAE they giving you one original Arabic language and one original translation in English.

https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/fees/reciprocity-by-country/AE.html

Not available by mail. Post recommends that consular officers waive the general requirement to obtain police certificates unless the applicant lives in the UAE.

@alexa.miley. you need to go first in NBI manila to get your sundry.

Hi sorry for the very late response. I'm not yet done with my app. Yes you need the police clearance from the UAE if you stayed there for more than 6mos.. Its better to be ready than sorry. If i were you request kna ng Sundry mo sa NBI Manila.. After nun ipapadala sau ng Dfa or Ikaw nlng kumuha ng athenticate sundry mo.. Then send it in UAE kung sino mn maglalakad ng PC mo dun. Di pa ako nkakuha kc wait ko muna interview letter ko. Good luck po sa atin! God bless hope i help you with this info.
