Don't see anyone being cold. Just see them them telling the truth.

You seem to understand the process complete. An approved waiver does NOT guarantee a visa. It only allows you to apply. If the ban is not over you will likely not be given a visa.

But you are right, it is your money and you can apply.

Illegal is illegal even if you were a minor. Google DACA and you will see there are many adults who entered illegally as a child and still suffer problems with immigration.

It seems he was deported and obtained a waiver for the deportation.

However there is still a lot of baggage out there that would be a negative for a visitor visa

There may be positive factors that outweigh them, do not know.

I know it doesn't guarantee a visa ! But do they really issue waiver just for fun so no one with a waiver that tries to get visa gets approved is that what you guys are telling me. So I can just try but likely I won't get thru so doing the waiver was just a waste ?? ohh come on.i don't know what it will be i can only try and no one knows the hardship this situation has caused me i did not ask to be in this situation. and my hope is not up I have always seem to get let down so your right maybe I won't get it.
