I-797C what exactly does the C mean?

We have waited for 16 months since our denial and now got the Reaffirmation notice and I-797C. Can anyone share anything about their 2nd interview process like how long did it take to get a new date..Will we have to take everything back to the Embassy just like the 1st time?...Will my husband have to get another police record and medical exam?..

I believe the a new police certificate will be required at the embassy since it is valid for 6 months at the embassy. Any expired medical will have to be redone.

I hope you you get more answers from ppl who have actually gone through reaffirmed cases.
