I am asking for a friend.....

if the US citizen child is claim by someone else in taxes. Does child has to be included in household size?

Will they question why USC did not claim in his/her taxes?

Also, when Beneficiary files DS 260 in questions about children, does he include names of USC children? (Child USC)

I will appreciate your advice. This is confusing topic and I have done some reading but would like your expert advice.

Thanks!

The child is being claim by a close relative. Not a parent.

I do believe you still have to list them as being part of the household.

They could ask about the childs circumstances, so your friend needs to be prepared for those questions

I don't think your friend lists the US citizen children because they are not seeking a visa (other memebers please correct me if im wrong)

YEs, friend has legal custody just not income so it was better if other relative claim child. there is only one parent.

Thank you. I am confide because the question on DS 260 says does beneficiary has any children? It needs to include natural children, adopted, step children
