Bangkok embassy never accept co-sponsor for K1 visa?

Is this even true that they not accepting co sposor? I found this rumor on this forum. My fiance returned in US 7 months ago, from his teaching job in Thailand and he temporarily works as a driver for now.

He makes $1-2K per month officially. He could save about $10K for this period since return, but to make case stronger, his mom signed to be a co-sponsor. His mom has a big house, lot's of space, where we're going to live all together.

I also have my own assets, my own fully paid property in Thailand worth $250K and money on saving account, probably more than $50K

Would that help? Maybe I can be a self sponsor if they don't accept co-sponsor?

Also here (http://www.siam-legal.com/us-visa/co-sponsor-for-us-k1-visa/) it says:

The co-sponsor need not be a family member. The co-sponsor must be:

• Any U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident;
• At least 18 years old;
• Domiciled in the U.S., its territories or possessions;
• Willing to be jointly liable, with the petitioner, for the support of the K1 visa holder he or she becomes a U.S. citizen or is credited with at least 40 units, or approximately 19 years, of work in the U.S.; and
• Have income of at least 125% of the poverty level for his or her household, including the K1 visa applicant; or
• Have assets of at least 5 times the difference between his or her income and 125% of the poverty level.

The co-sponsor need not be a family member. What??

Property in Thailand don't really matter to the case. It has to be property in USA since you will be in living in USA. Co-Sponsor is look very bad in the eye of embassy because it look like he can't support his love one on his own. However they are some case that co-sponsor is fine and pass. So it really matter on what embassy decide it.

Car, house, money in the bank, life insurance and monthly income make sure it all add up to 125%.

If it looks so bad in the eye of government, why are co sponsors allowed in first place?

are there any cases that K1 visa is denied because co sponsor was involved?

now i'm thinking maybe it is better to move my case in Paris where they seems more respect human rights..

it case by case there some are pass. it all up in the hand of CO in Thailand.

Guys , my fiance just retuned from Thailand, where he had low income job. Now he is doing great in US, but CO may not like the fact that he is an independent contractor now. We only have bank statements for past 7 months. However I do no not have to worry about that, if I would apply in my country embassy, not where I live.

Do you think it is better to demand US embassy Bangkok to move my case to Paris, where they treat people better in general, and they also don't ask for i-134 and they are more open to look at totality of circumstances? Bangkok embassy is different, they are trained to deal with third world county citizens and scrutinise everyone, especially if your case is not standard.
