I751 Fingerprint letter and appointment

On 8/10/2016, my wife went to the USCI office for her biometrics appointment. It has been 3 months, and we have not heard from USCIS. We decided to check the status of the case online by going to USCIS mycase. Once we enter the receipt number from the I-751 Receipt Notice, we get an error. Now, the biometrics appointment letter has 2 receipt numbers. One from the previous letter (I-751 Receipt Notice, which does not work), and the number, similar to the I-751 RN that actually works and says the following:

On July 12, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by August 11, 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to

So my questions are:

1. My wife kept the biometrics appointment letter after her appointment. Is USCIS supposed to keep the biometrics letter or we did wrong by keeping the letter? They put and stamp on the letter.

2. Why the USCIS's website do not say the latest information about the case such as the biometrics letter?

3. How longs does it take to update the case on the website?

4. If everything is right after the biometrics appointment, what should we expect from USCIS? What's next?
