It is a weird question. His money is his to give to you if he wishes. I am certain you are not the only one who has money sent to their fiance(e). Nothing the government can say about it. It looks like something you can use for evidence. Keep the transaction records with your names on them for proof of on-going relationship.

Not an issue for the Government, unless any transaction exceeds $9,999.00. Unless of course, there are other national security issues at hand. Then the threshhold is much less.

With that said, do you meet the minimum income to sponsor your Fiance? You may want to check those numbers out.

I think sending money to the U.S. might be seen as suspicious at certain consulates. That said, I wouldn't think that the UK is one of them.

At times any exchange of money between the two parties could be looked at as payment for buying a visa. In china that issue does come up. I would not bring attention to this fact unless asked about it.

UK is not a high fraud country so I wouldnt think small amounts of money being transfered to be a large problem. And if your USC SO doesnt make enough, there's always co-sponsorship... That's what we're doing!

Hm i dont see this as being a problem...As it was already said it's his money to give u. I do know though that the petitioner (the american citizen) has to provide an Affidafit of Support...some 134 ...something form...so it would be shown that u're at, or over the poverty limit. You can always have a co-signer that would guarantee the fact that you have a certain income. So the fact that he sends you the money shouldnt be a problem, but u have to have a certain income to be qualified...

I am not 100% sure. For those reading the thread and know exaclty, please confirm or tell me to be quiet :)))))

The only thing I can add here is that you probably want to gather strong relationship evidence, because you want to make sure it does not look like he is paying you to get himself into the U.S.

If you need a co sponser then sending money would be even more of a red flag. It has been brought up before in regards for a way for a poor person to make some money . Number one thing they look for is fraud before anything else.
