Montreal K1 post-interview process time?

Hi all,

Apologies if this has already been answered--I've searched and just can't find answers!

So I have my K1 visa interview scheduled in Montreal Dec. 21. The process has been smooth and actually has gone faster than my fiance and I expected so far. I am from Canada, he is in the US, and we are working on me moving to the US.

We do have a lawyer and I'm on top of everything, so I will have all required documents and info at my interview.

Assuming my visa is approved, can people tell me how long it took for them to receive their visas in the mail after their Montreal interviews?

I'm interested as you and I are in the same situation, only you're part way through the process. I'm just starting to learn how it all works. Being older, I really hadn't planned on marrying when living in sin works just as well, however I have no real aversion to marriage.

I'd like to move south but can't retire yet, but am interested in how long the process takes. I'd hate to have to stay out of the US for a long period of time while waiting...

My interview was on Nov 9th and got my passport/visa back on Nov 14th .. shouldn't take more than 2 weeks tho

Hi, i'm currently trying to book an appointment for the k1 visa in montreal. But the website kept on saying there's no available appointment and i've been trying for 2 weeks now. How were you able to get an appointment? Also my i129f is expiring on jan 14, 2017. I'm worried this could affect my petition. Hope you can help me. Thanks

It can take from a few days to several months. Typically 1-3 weeks for K1
