Hi all,

Just another quick question if anyone can help?

I am due to have my interview on the 8th and I was wondering if anyone can advise on documentation again. I have everything on the list that is requested and more however we have not booked a wedding and therefore have no proof. We are going to book a courthouse wedding when I get there to make sure we are following the rules of married within 90 days however we intend to book a wedding for ceremony for about 2018 which both of our families can attend. We will be married within the 90 days but are not going to book anything with a court until we know when I am going to be there.

It says about proof of wedding invitations or bookings and things like that but obviously we don't have any of this. Is this going to be a problem and if it is... what on earth do i do?

We have every intention of following the rules but I don't know if just explaining this to them at the interview will be enough.

Please help

Thanks everyone :)

You don;t need a wedding booked, but an idea of what you wil do is good, as they may ask what your plans are. You have discussed this as a couple and do have a plan, so you will be fine.

Relax, London will not ask to see your wedding arrangements, it is a low fraud embassy and the interview really is painless, everyone is friendly & helpful :) Edited by trudi

There's no need to bring any of that. They don't need proof of wedding for London. You're going to find things are much more relaxed. I don't recall my husband being asked about wedding plans, and they certainly didn't want to look at any additional evidence. They will in general just want to know how you met, where you'll live, who the two of you are, etc.
