This is a daughter forum of the above. Since most USC pettitioners living abroad seem to be getting California, and less than 10% have gotten Nebraska, I though this would help us petitioners that did get NSC.

Its pretty depressing waiting 5 month (regular processing time at NSC) and seeing almost everyone on the USC petitioner forum getting their NOA2 in less than 1 month, and it doesnt help us understand how long our process will take at NSC. So this forum is to make it easier on the future or current NSC couples.

In order for other couples to predict processing times, I believe we should do a survey just as the main forum above.

Please only post the survey here, and we will make a Nebraska forum for USC living abroad for general discusion, progress reports etc. (which I will add a link to here later).

1. Country USC resides in: Serbia

3. When did you file the I-130: November 4th 2016

4. How long had you lived abroad: 2+ years

7. Did you list your foreign address on all forms in I-130 package? Yes

8. Did you send I-130 package from abroad? No, sent to parents who sent to USCIS Chicago

9. Did you include evidence of your residence abroad in the I-130 package? Yes. They were meant to be evidence of bona fide relationship, but they also proved the USC was residing abroad in Serbia.

10. Did you mention the fact you reside abroad in the cover letter or write a letter describing your situation? Yes (coverletter)

11. Has your case been "auto-expedited"? How long between NOA1 and NOA2? No, got NOA1 Nov.14th 2016

Good luck to us!
