Hello.

I just need some oipinions . Badly Needed. Coz my Partner has been asking me to ask family members and or friend to write a letter for us proving our Relationship. He wants to include this on filing the I-129f as A proof..

coz he said its better to show more proofs..

Do we need to provide for it? Like necessary? Can this letter help or might give a doubt on our petition.? Red flag?? To do or Not to do?? ? ThankYou

In my opinion it doesn't help in anything. If you follow all the instructions in the guides here, more reliable proofs are the pics, boarding passes, stamps in the passport , the chat logs, hotel receipts .and things like that...a third party would just be waste of energy. It's not relevant at this point.

As suggested there are other pieces of evidence that will give more credence to your relationship than a signed letter. Wouldn't hurt your case but doubt it would have any impact if not included.

Why is your partner so insistent on it? Nervous?

Alay the fears by stating other more tangible sources of evidence proving your relationship is more beneficial.

Is your evidence very thin and he feels this is a way of bolstering it?

Yes. I think he is nervous. Too early to be nervous. Coz he said he consulted an agency and two agencies told him to provide those. And its worrying me coz he is stressing too much on that. When like this, most of the people I've ask it wouldnt make an impact. ThankyOu

Show him the responses from here then, ps not knocking the legal profession and unless you have difficult case you don't need them. They have been known to mess up applications so more a hindrance than a help!

The real proof will come when you AOS once you marry... he said going to be a nervous wreck judging by what his reaction is currently! evidence you've met etc is a must so have call logs, flight details (boarding passes) to hand. Pictures of you together helps with family and friends too.

Its becoming more difficult for me to explain to him. And to convince him. Coz from other advices the person going to check the I-129F can think that friends can just fabricate letters..

we have a lot of pictures and with families too. Even our plane tckets together, boarding passes, terminal fees and even tour reservation receipts..

But he said a better to have. Solid proof.

And yes i guess this ideas is from The Agencies he's been asked. ??
