Recent documents for k1 visa interview

Hi i just want to confirm if i need to ask my fiancee again to send me updated documents (closer to the interview date) like the formI-134, pay stubs or the letter of intent to marry since he sent this to me last sept but i had delays in my medical so i think i will only be able to schedule an interview on jan 2017. Or would this be fine to still use those docs? Thank you..

I would ask him to send all of those documents again with updated dates. The more recent the date, the better! Outdated paystubs for example could look bad to a reviewing officer; recent stubs show he still has the job and is earning, whereas 5 month old stubs don't prove much besides that he worked then and since it's been a mystery.

Okay thank you for answering. I think i'll just ask him to send updated documents just to be sure
