Fingerprints in Cambodia for police certificate for Canada

Hi VJ members,

I am a newbie here. We hope someone could help us. My husband and I recently got a checklist cover letter from NVC requesting for a Canada Police certificate although we have provided a Police Criminal record check which we we got in a local police office before we left Canada 7 months ago. So anyway, as indicated by the letter we have to get a third party company to get another Police certificate from outside Canada. It requires our fingerprints which should be sent to these fingerprint companies. Our problem is we have been to the police department in Cambodia, IOM office, even to the Canadian embassy but all are saying they do not have services for this. Maybe there is someone here who has gone through this process that can direct us where to go. Thank you very much. Good luck to everyone!

Police Records - Outside Canada: Applicants who are not physically present in Canada must obtain a Certified Criminal Record Check. There is a processing fee of $25 CAN or US equivalent per criminal record and/or vulnerable sector check. Payment must be made by certified cheque or money order to the Receiver General for Canada.
