Mar. 30, 2007 - A brush fire erupted and spread over an estimated 18-20 acres near Burbank and Universal City on Friday.

The fire started next to the Oakwood Toluca Hills, a corporate housing complex. A call to the Oakwood complex was not immediately returned.

"Fortunately today the winds are relatively light," said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Ron Myer.

Helicopters made water drops as a huge column of smoke rose over greater Los Angeles.

what's the sign made of? I thought it had some sort of teflon coating. Wouldn't that be somewhat flame retardent?

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
