Rescheduling K-1 Interview in Casablanca

Does anyone have any experience with rescheduling a K-1 interview at the Casablanca Embassy? My fiancé will not have his police reports from Spain or Iceland in hand and translated in time for the interview and we are trying to reschedule so that he has everything that he needs when he attends the interview. We have sent an email but so far have heard nothing back. His interview is next week and we only need at most another two weeks. Many thanks.

I don't have any experience as our case just got to Casablanca. I do agree with the poster above. Let him go ahead to the interview. If he gets approved and they ask for the police reports, then he can go get them and take them to the consulate.

If I recall correctly when we did ours, you can do it on the CEAC website. I'm honesty trying to remember how we rescheduled ours.

I would just have him attend and he can let them know that they have not arrived yet. If "approved" they would just issue the 221g stating more documents are needed. I know when we were going through the process, the availability of open interview slots were relatively far out (1-3 months) for rescheduling. I personally would rather have the interview with only having to submit the docs, that to wait for an unknown extra time.

I am not sure about rescheduling (I have never seen a post for that for Casa) however, you can go as long as he has everything else and your fiance explains you are just waiting for those documents to arrive. Do not forget this is the holiday season so there are going to be a lot of days off for the workers. I am going to assume there are limited appts. open. I know when I emailed the embassy it took them over a week to get back to me after I emailed them twice. Maybe you can email them again with your case number and the word urgent in the subject heading. Good luck.
