This question may be due to my obsession with staring at my screen and being impatient as well as a lack of knowledge on how things work behind the scenes... but here it goes:

My LAST UPDATED (MM/DD/YYYY) shows 11/1/2016 and I understand this to mean that this is the last time it was "touched".

SO - if it doesnt reflect a new date - does that mean its stuck on someones desk - or possibly fell over behind the desk and the wall? Ok - joking aside... I thought this field was supposed to be updated with "HARD TOUCHES" and "SOFT TOUCHES" - meaning its changed based on its movement within USCIS.

Does anyone with a similar timeline have a more recent "updated" date under the LAST UPDATED section?

So for example - my NOA1 has a date on it showing: 10/28/16....NOA1 Date on Hard Copy Notice - my online status date showing LAST UPDATED shows 11/1/2016

Does anyone have a similar NOA1 date but shows a more recent "LAST UPDATED" date such as 11/15/2016 or something like that - that would show movement based on workload - but confirm mine fell into a black hole or is receiving the stink eye from a USCIS reviewer.

11/01/2016 is the date they most likely put it the system, and has not been updated since then. Give it time, K1 petitions are processed pretty quickly, but give it more then 16 days.

They have up to 180 days to process a case when its received. K1's don't take nearly that time, consider yourself lucky

I am in the same boat with a NOA date of Nov 7. I am checking regularly as well without seeing any soft touches. I would love to hear experiences from someone that has been in this stage. Should we expect soft touch updates after NOA 1? How soon?
