I got my NOA2 about 2 weeks ago. However, since then my fiance and i have been having some issues. I see on the noa2 that there is a date that its good through, like until march. My question is, is it possible to extend this? Or perhaps keep the k1 on hold for a while longer until we figure out if marriage is really for us? Thanks

The petition is most likely at NVC still. The expiration date on the NOA2 is generally "auto extended" by the embassy as long as there is some kind of activity done by the petitioner or beneficiary, such as scheduling appointment or what not. You still have a good amount of time though if the expiration is in March.

ok thank you so much.

I also sent and email to the NVC for more info. My fiance also currently has a tourist visa so during the k1 process (and if we can put it on hold), is her tourist visa void?

The tourist visa isn't void but she may encounter difficulty when speaking with an immigration officer upon entry to the US. I've seen others here say to bring your NOA2 to prove that you're doing everything "by the book" and don't intend to overstay.
