Petitioner has already received NOA2 and NVC letter saying approved and sent to Manila. I have already checked CEAC Visa Status Tracker and it says "Ready", but I haven't received any letter or packet or anything from the US embassy here in Manila. Am I good to go w/ scheduling my medical and interview? Will I be asked to provide that letter when I arrive for my embassy interview if I haven't received it? Please provide any assistance you can. Thank you very much!

Don;t wait.

Go a head and use the NVC case number and schedule for medical and the interview(leave about 1-2 weeks inbetween these). Also go complete the CFO, even before the interview.

Most the time the beneficiary will never receive anything in the mail in the Philippines.

Also, make sure petitioner has all documents gathered to provide to you(I-134, pay stubs, W2's, ect..)

Good luck!

Thank you very much for your reply, Ben&Zian. I am a little bit confused because I see some people say they had to submit there NVC letter when they arrived at the embassy. The petitioner and I will be attending the embassy together. We won't be asked to submit that letter (which I haven't received)? Thanks again for your assistance.

Can you send me the same details as well? I will be having my interview on Dec 5,2016. We have a lawyer but they are not advising us to push thru with the interview since the physical case may not have been with the Manila Embassy. We received our NVC letter thru Oct 28. CEAC website says it was created Oct 19 and was updated Oct 26 and is READY for interview. I have the Appointment Letter from the Embassy at hand. Our lawyer mentioned that we may not be admitted if the Eligibility Letter will not be provided.

Gee.. I don't know if the "Ready" status means that it has definitely reached your local embassy; however, I believe (this is based on very little knowledge of course) that you can actually call the local US Embassy to verify receipt if you have your case #. If I'm wrong about this I apologize as my fiance and myself are going through the process right now so I don't have a lot of expertise on the matter.

Your lawyer is an idiot. If you have the appointment letter from Embassy, you're good to go. Just make sure you bring all the documents listed on their website >>>>>> https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf
