Hi all,

So I'm currently in the U.K. studying until March, I left the US in October. I have to renew my conditional green card in February, and I'm just wondering about the AR11 etc. as I'll be overseas while my renewal is in progress, though a, more than willing to return for biometrics etc. if necessary. I and my wife moved over here for the duration of the course, and as such we don't have a permanent US residence at present. Is it permissible to put down our mother in law's address? There's no means by which we can put any sort of address other than US on the AR11.

Thanks for any help.

You'll need a US address for the ROC stuff, so yeah, change your mailing address to the mother-in-laws. You live abroad temporarily, not for super long, so it will be easy to argue you are still ordinarily resident in the USA,.
