Medical in USA but interview in uk?

Hi there,

I am currently visiting my wife in USA while waiting for my interview date and nvc approval which I will have to fly back to the uk to have the interview in London. just wondering if anybody knows whether I can do the medical here in the states before the interview in London or the medical had to be done in the same country? I ask this as its a lot cheaper to do here...

It needs to be done by the specific embassy approved doctor, which for UK is the one in London. Sorry.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

 

K1 process

Embassy in London will only recognize medical from where it has jurisdiction, ie London.

It's unfortunate that the London medical is so much more than other places - mine is tomorrow and it's £290.00 plus £45.00 for pertussis vaccine because the NHS has run out so I can't get it from the GP.

But we are where we are and it's what we have to do.
