This case has been approved. On January 31, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

This is awsome news!!! I'm so happy!!! I'm going to call my fiance right now to tell him the news!!

Now it's on to NVC. Our case is a repeat submission from 2003. The last time our case was at NVC for 67 days. I guess it got caught up in name checks. I wonder what improvements/changes have taken place since then, especially for those who are reportedly from state sponsored terrorist countries?? Any thoughts/comments are greatly appreciated!!

Peter Miami, it is only a technical term as the US Interest Section in Havana is housed inside the Swiss Embassy and there is no real "US Embassy" in Havana.

I'm going to monitor very closely how long our case is at NVC. If it looks like a process, I'm going to ask Havana for a provisional file. Yes, I'm going to make myself known to the folks in Havana. In a very nice way of course!!
