You are 100% correct, even if many don't agree with you, I do.

And this clip from Dragnet, from 1968, is just as appropriate today as it was back then. Perhaps more so...

Why are we still even calling them protesters? They are violent rioters, that's all they are.

Yes. Reality is disturbing I guess. Even before the election they were throwing their savior Nate Plastic under the bus. He was giving Trump a 25% chance. The superior ground game, all the "polls" etc, had them celebrating a little early. Some fools were even predicting she would win by 8%.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Hey, I was only off by 7.33%.

Trouble is, not all that many fell for Trump, as compared to the past 2 elections. Just that fewer fell for Hillary. People aren't as dumb as some might think, on either side of the purple fence.

And I will admit no one is more surprised than I. When Trump first started running, I thought it was a reality show stunt, nothing more. And even 2 days before the election, I posted that he didn't stand a chance against Hillary. I really thought her money and bribes had her winning. I am pleased that "we the people" spoke up. Now it remains to be seen if Trump can deliver as president as well as he has as a businessman...

That is what happened, Hillary had 6 million fewer votes than Obama got in 2012 and 10 million fewer votes than Obama got in 2008. trump got pretty much the same republican vote as both Romney and McCain got in the previous two elections. Nobody predicted that Hillary would lose over 6 million votes from what Obama got in 2012. This was the ultimate unpopularity contest and Hillary won that going away.

One little reality check. He won!!

Now I do understand that you would not have been thrilled no matter who won. I have to give you credit for at least seeing though Hillary.

So we have some common ground (F)

He won, the Electoral College, and did not get more votes than Hillary. It does not make him less legitimately elected, it is just funny considering Trump was declaring the Electoral college the most rigged if institutions two weeks ago and now he sings its praises Edited by Rob L

I'm still waiting for all the cries of voter fraud. Funny how voter fraud seems to disappear when the republican wins.

Not so sure. Trump says now that the Clintons are "good people" and he "doesn't want to hurt them".

I reviewed the pictures of the protestors, they appear to be what I called in High School geeks and nerds. People who never quit fit in with the mainstream, got bullied, never could find there place in life, maybe if they got lucky they would eventually become a manager of small store in a mall.

Well as long as you viewed the pictures, I guess you're right.

I wonder how many republicans in blue states stay home on election day? I know I feel like it some times living in Washington. Who's to say he wouldn't have won the popular vote if that was the system in use? Maybe more republicans in those blue areas would be more inclined to vote if we used the popular vote system. Btw, she didn't win the popular vote by much. Its just a sore loser subject.

You do make a valid point. But when you put those republicans in blue states that stay home up against the dems in blue states that stay home for the same reason, I would imagine they would at least even out. Living in a blue state, I do know a lot of dems that stay home because the outcome is a foregone conclusion. I'm sure the same would be true for dems and republicans that stay home in red states.

The biggest difference in this election was the dems that stayed home, at least 6 million of them.

You can credit the DNC for that. They rigged the election for the establishment Hillary to get the nominations. Add the silly number of super delegates. It was very un-American way. Nobody likes a cheater. I hope to see the Democrats rise from this disaster and become a new and stronger party with a change in their direction.

Republicans are doing it , I hope the Dems do it as well. Democracy is fun when level and played fair on both sides.

it's hard to fathom so many people falling for such an obvious con.

I thought you said Trump was just a plant so Hillary would win? Or is their some other con you just thought up?

History tells us people falling for an obvious con happens all the time.
