Hi All, Just shy of 90 days, see below.

Submitted 8/19/16

NOA1 (notice of receipt): 8/23/16

No other communication from USCIS in any form. Checks website status and automated phone, nothing. Is this normal?

Almost all others listed on visajourney with similar NOA1 date at California Service Center (CSC) already have NOA2. My lady is a Swiss born citizen with no complicated past,

never married before and no previous visa issues with the US. Any help welcome.

Hello Swam,

So similar to me, I submitted the form I-129F on October 11th, I received an email confirming they were going to process our application and gave us a Receipt Number, which we use to check the status at the USCIS webpage. Now it says form I-129F is approved (NOA2) but we haven't even received NOA1, nothing. I wonder if this is happening to more people as I read your post?

So I called in and spoke with a rep last Tuesday Nov 15, about the 90 day mark, he said "processing" no problem just luck of the draw. On Nov 17th I got a letter RFE I-797E, requesting a statement from my Fiance (the beneficiary) stating she plans to marry me within 90 days of enter the United States. Apparently we missed the fact that the petitioner (me US citizen) and the beneficiary both need a letter. Even after going over the paperwork 3x we still missed that point...

Good news is once you send that form you will have an approval.

Congrats in advance.
