I was driving to work last week and I have a Trump sticker on my car. I had a car full of a group of men (who's ethnicity I wont mention) pull up behind my car. As soon as they saw the Trump sticker they appeared very angry and in a dangerous manner the car cut into the lane next to me and the men started flipping me off and yelling obcenities at me. I wouldn't call this an act of violence but they were certainly angry. I have never seen anyone react this way over a bumper sticker. I have had people politely comment to me that they disapproved of my bumper sticker but nothing like this.

I've been flipped off and yelled obscenities many times. I don't even have a Trump sticker. I wouldn't put any politicians sticker on my car. Just lowers the value.

I digress though. How do you know it was the Trump sticker? Was that made clear during the obscenities.

Maybe they didn't like your driving

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.

I feel like were the situation reversed, there would be a million and one reasons why we need to get the whole story first, don't jump to conclusions, don't blame it on race, don't blame it on Trump. And yet here we are.

I'm not sure why the shoe always needs to be on the other foot before people realize that it's uncomfortable.

I drive a beater to work because it gets better mileage than my newer car so I'm not concerned about the value (which probably isn't much more than scrap price). Funny thing is the people yelling at me and flipping me off were driving a far better car than me.

I know it was the Trump sticker because one of the obcenities yelled was "f*** Trump" and I could see in the rear view mirror the look on the driver's face when he was trying to read the stickers. Perhaps it was the "Hillary for prison 2016" sticker that really upset them. I'm going to have to change that one to "Hillary for prison 2017". It was not my driving that made them mad because they were driving recklessly just to get beside me to flip me off and yell at me.

That would be my guess too. They sound like jerks and possibly the situation could have been much worse. The plausible explanation would be they didn't like your bumper sticker.

So why then, in a story like the disabled veteran who experienced an incident of racism (not sure if you saw the post or not), do we always have comments that there must be more, lets get the whole story, he must have done something, his uniform, his dog, his history. I'm curious. Why do you get the benefit of the doubt and he does not?
