Hi all,

I am compiling evidence for my ROC. My question is - how much evidence should I provide? For example, credit card statements - am I to provide monthly statements as evidence or can I just include the last 3 months or quarterly statements? I would include monthly statements. Others have received RFEs for not providing them all. Good luck!

are you saying that without joint accounts there is no way they will approve a ROC request? . Im in the middle of this at the moment and never sent copies of joint a accounts because we dont have them.

I only have a joint savings account that we opened a year after we married and we barely used, I did include the statements but they were only sent every quarter as we didn't use it enough to get monthly statements. However we also have a joint mortgage and I am on the rental agreements from before we got the house. It just depends if you have other good evidence of financial commingling.

I don't think so. They are merely restating what is printed on page 5 of the Form I-751 instructions:

Evidence of the Relationship

Submit copies of documents indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in “good faith” and was not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Submit copies of as many documents as you can to establish this fact, to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date, and to demonstrate any circumstances surrounding the end of the relationship, if it has ended. The documents should include, but are not limited to, the following examples: .....

Initially, we had submitted quarterly statements, etc. We received an RFE for "more 'marriage bonafides evidence' since the inception of the marriage," our successful RFE submission included everything 'cept the kitchen sink.

There have been numerous recent postings of USCIS adjudicators sending out RFEs related to this very instruction. Several of us have recently fun afoul of very picky adjudicators.

Thanks alot! What about affidavits, can I have a family member (second degree family member) write the affidavit? Should it be notarized?

Also photos, I went to Walgreens to have them printed. Can I just out then all in an envelope or would it be better for them to be secured / paste on a copy paper?

We are about to send our I-751 package next week and we provided monthly statements for the following:

• Rent, trash and utilities (comes as one statement)
• joint checking/savings account
• credit cards
• brokerage accounts
• bills (phone, electricity)

For auto insurance, we provided copies of all renewal statements (every 6 months) and copies of all insurances cards.

Regarding photos - we printed them on a regular paper and labeled them with the trip/event name plus a short description.

Regarding evidences from the beginning of the marriage, we were living abroad while waiting for I-130 to be approved. During that time, we didn't have joint bank accounts (wife used her US bank account), credits cards (wife used US credit card), auto insurance (wife didn't drive) or health insurance (provided by gov.), so the only thing we can provide is our lease agreements and wire transfers from my foreign bank to my wife's bank account.

You could include copies of both driver's license (showing the same address). Life insurance (showing spouse as beneficiary), Will, Advanced Medical Directive (spouse authorized to make medical decisions) etc. are not just good evidence at this stage but a good idea to have in place anyway.

We're in the same situation and so are a lot of people who came here on CR-1s so don't worry
