My joint sponsor is my Mother who is retired.

Do I enter the amount stated in her tax return or an expected income?

I was trying to look on Google and I still can't quite define the meaning of Annual Income in the context of the form.

You enter the amount she currently makes, annualised. So if, this month, she has a pension of $2000, you would put $24'000 as her annual income.

Then you provide bank statements/ pension letters etc to show that is indeed her income.

I see. But it doesn't really say anything like that on the form.

It only says to include the most recent 1040 and 1099 for last 3 years.

That's why I am so confused about the meaning of annual income.

Ok then, I will check the bank statements of this year.

Thank you for the help and feedback Penguin!

God Bless
