A family member in the US can't drink malt liquor, and would like me to bring some Smirnoff coolers from Canada since they don't make them with malt here. I'm wondering how many am I able to bring across the border when I immigrate using my K1 visa?

as many as you want for personal use. you must declare it at entry and pay the appropriate tax for the items. there is some amount you can bring and not pay taxes, I forget how much you can bring but you still have to declare it even it it is below the tax amount. I would recommend bring the receipts since they may deduct the tax you paid from what you owe.

There's a Donald Trump joke to be told here about the enhanced need to self-medicate, but I'll let it go. :P
