Yesterday, I was told that my case will go into supervisor review.

Is it a good thing?

Supervisor review is a good thing - give it a week or two and you'll know if your case is complete. :-) Unless you forgot any papers (like we did...), then it's just not the best of news.

I just got off the phone with NVC since it has been six weeks for me. The lady said she will put it in the system and tell them to work on it since it has been six weeks. She said it should get completed any day now since they are working on it. My scan date was oct. 19th.

My scan date is 18 Oct.

My lawyer didn't confirm my scan date, so I'm only assuming it based on the date that they FedeX'd the package to the NVC.

That was my original assumption as well. I was wrong. My lawyer sent out the package on oct 13th. So i counted the six weeks based off that date. When i called NVC they said they scanned the Papers on Oct 19th. Shipment and Scan dates are two different things. Usually one week in between.

I will confirm what Kohijiro said, supervisor review is a good thing! I called on Tuesday asking about my case ... put in supervisor review. I checked everyday... wasn't expecting anything really. I checked this evening and had my 3rd N/A. Called NVC (am so grateful for their late working hours!), I spoke with agent, he said case is complete! I will get an email next week - confirmed email address while I was at it also. So happy!!!
