For anyone that is interested, i just called yesterday and talked to a very nice Lady. December Interviews have already been scheduled so there is no way that anyone that hasn't been scheduled yet will get his/her Interview in December. I don't know what to do anymore it has been so frustrating. My attorney gave us two options at the beginning- AOS and Consular Processing- we went for Consular Processing because she said i would be home by December and that way we could save up more money since i have a job here in Germany. It was such a disappointment hearing that from the NVC Lady yesterday. Has anyone else heard anything yet??

Are you in electronic processing? Lately this has been taking a matter of days to get to case complete.

I'm surprised the attorney told you to go for AOS. OK, maybe I'm not surprised because they are known for giving very bad advice. Unless you were in the country at the time. In any event, AOS would have been even more expensive and you wouldn't have been able to work for some time. It's ludicrous to give up a perfectly good job and put yourself out of the job marker for several months just to shave a few months off this process.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

What is electronic processing? My attorney sent everything via USPS priority mail, so i guess that would be the old fashioned way, right?

She didn't actually told us to go with it she just gave us two options. She did mention pro's and con's on both processes. And yes, you are right about the Job. Those where my exact thoughts when i told my husband i want consular processing. I just want my CC already

Frankfurt embassy applicants qualify for electronic processing, whereby you send copies of all required documents by email to the NVC. By following the lawyer's advice you have added about 2 months to the process, unfortunately. This is not a good lawyer. First she suggested immigration fraud (saying it has cons is the understatement of the year - it's illegal!). Now she has cost you a lot of extra time.

Case complete is taking about 8 weeks at the moment for standard mail processing and less than a week for electronic processing. Too bad you didn't find us here sooner and we could have let you know that before you sent the documents.

Wait.. what? What is illegal? AOS? Adjusting Status on the WVP is not illegal. There is a certain way you have to go about it but it is defiantly not illegal. One of my friends is a successful example for adjusting status while on the WVP. She just now got her conditional green card- no questions asked on her entering on the WVP and staying.

On the electronic filing- my attorney did get a letter from uscis which she scanned and forwarded to me which clearly states to electronically file the DS 260 (i believe that is the right form, correct me if i am mistaken) and pay the fee's online. The AOS Packet was to be sent by mail. I guess i an go ahead and ask her but it won't make any difference now since we are already stuck at NVC. Scan date was Oct. 19th so someone must have it on their desk.

I want your opinions to my situation please.

My police certificate will end on Dec 3 and on Nov 28 I will complete six weeks with NVC, and what I see that they may be will need one or two weeks after Nov 28 to process my case.

What do you prefer?

Sending updated police certificate before they send a checklist about it to me or waiting to see what will they do.

I am afraid that they will send checklist about updating the police certificate if they will process my case after Nov 28 and wait another six weeks.

Any opinions will be appreciated.

I don't know why you would need to send updated police certificates? They are expiring?

I would only do with what they ask you to do, don't do more. Unfortunately just a very slow long dragging process. They know they are taking time and know when your case was received and when it was scanned.

I appreciate your help

In Egypt the police certificate is valid for three months only.

The point is that I don't need another sex weeks

I called them just now and they said it's in documents review. it's pulled into documents review yesterday. Does anyone knows what that mean?

Good sign

Wait a case completing or supervisor review, but you are near the case completing,

God willing.

When was your scan date?

They said I won't need supervisor review. I hope no REF. My scan date was October 13. I'm praying it to go smooth.

ENSH'ALLAH You will be the first one we will say to him congratulations
