You will get more replies if you fill in your timeline and profile, so we know what kind of visa you are applying for, and in which embassy. Most answers will depend on knowing what you are doing, which we do not from the limited info you have given.

At a guess, you asked about interviews in a month they have not opened up for interviews yet; usually interviews are only scheduled a month in advance, but it does depend on the embassy.

so they said to keep calling or checking .. how does that work? they open up the appts and then when that months filled they close it? so when would they normally open up appts for dec?.. that's a stupid system btw if it matters

You just have to keep checking, unfortunately. With the holidays coming up and people taking holiday vacations as well, they probably have more limited openings. Another thing, look up the CDJ embassy calendar because they not only observe U.S holidays but also certain Mexico holidays too. Take all that into consideration and they probably don't have much wiggle room around these times.

Best suggestion anyone can give you is to simply keep checking and jump on something soon as you see it.

Good luck!

I have the same problem. I didn't know we had to call for a appointment. We got a email last week that we were in line for a interview. With no actual date set up. I called for more info and they just said that we were in line for a interview that she believed they were all booked up for December. And we would get a notice of at least a month before the interview

How do you book your appointment. And where do you call or keep checking to book it?

Not sure what type of Visa you are applying for and you don't have a timeline filled in either.

In general, when applying for the spousal visa (IR-1/CR-1) they set the appointment for you; in the case of a K-1 (Fiancé) visa you choose your own appointment date/time.
