Can you submit a G-1145 with an I-751 form?

Hi!

I wasn't sure if you could submit to have electronic notifications with the I-751 application, or if you just had to wait and find out via mail what stage it was at? I'm thinking from what I read I would not be able to submit the G-1145, but I wanted to make sure.

Nope, they only accept that form if we are filing at one of the lockbox facilities

I sent it in my application (I wasn't aware it didn't apply to this) and they did not email/text with a response.

The G-1145 form doesn't sign you up for electronic notifications of the different stages, it only gives you an electronic notification that the petition has been received at a lockbox (which as others explained, the I-751 isn't sent to a lockbox, so the point is moot). If you want electronic notifications, sign up at http://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ and enter your case number after registering.
