Hello VJ members, I really thank you guys for the help your information on this site is helping a lot of people get through their visa app especially with Lagos embassy being a tough one. So I have little worries about a few things and I please need your help on this one and here it goes

1. NVC mailed our package to Lagos embassy about a week ago and we are yet to here from them about scheduling an interview, my question is, do we go ahead and schedule for an interview or do we have to wait till we get a letter before we go ahead and schedule an interview

2. I saw on some forums where members talked about bringing in their original copy of NOA2 into the interview as part of the documents they submitted during their interview. My question is, did any of you that passed through Lagos embassy had to submit such document.

I'll be very grateful to hear from you guys your experience there. Thanks very much

Do you have your case number from the NVC? When you receive that, you can check your status on the CEAC website and schedule your appointment when it says "ready for interview".

The NOA2 is not needed for the interview. You could take a copy just in case, if it makes you feel more comfortable. We had ours with us but only because it was with the rest of our immigration paperwork and we took everything.
