Yes you do. You need police clearance certificates from every single country you have lived/resided in for 6 months or more after turning the age of 16. It does not matter that you have not been home for more than 6 months, you still need one.

I don't think you read the question, or understood it. I am not questioning if a PCC is required.

quick question;

if you live abroad but your police character report from your country of birth expires, do you need a new report, if you haven't visited your country after obtaining the last report?

Yes you need a new one.

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
