Trump has denounced the KKK more than once. Hillary and Obama publicly support BLM. It's not okay that Trump won't denounce the KKK for the millionth time but somehow it's okay for Hillary and Obama to publicly support a hate group and incite violence? Am I missing something here?

Thank You again

They have been discredited by law enforcement agencies such as the FBI but they are supposedly the authority on what is and isn't a hate group right?

They ticked off a few people when they added Ben Carson to their extremist watch list. The only ones who have 'discredited' them are groups who have made the claim themselves.

I don't have any investment in them. I like to provide links rather than just making random claims. That is somewhat of a custom here. They're just the first group that came up. I don't see BLM on anyone's list of watch groups, and conversely, I don't see the KKK left off of any.

The more violent episodes BLM becomes involved in, obviously the more they move away from their stated purpose. Comparing them to the KKK is just a bit too silly to take seriously.

I'm betting when the KKK first started, they weren't seen as a hate group either. Just some people expressing their opinions.

But their days are numbered, IMHO, when it comes to not being labeled as a hate group. They may be convenient to many today, but hopefully not for much longer:

Any group could morph into a hate group by their actions over time. As far as what I have read, there was no time when the KKK was not a hate group, and at times they were a mainstream and widely accepted presence in the south. You can find images of lynchings, burnings and murders all over google and I don't think it compares to anything else you'll find in American history

To that extent, the KKK is irrelevant in scope today. They don't do any of that nowadays, mostly because they cant. They really shouldn't exist. What they did do went on for decades and their designation as a hate group stems from that ideology.

BLM started out as protests, then became a movement. So if a criminal shoots a police officer and he has ties to BLM, do we then say BLM is a hate group? If all BLM protests start to become violent with hate speech and killings become frequent is it then a hate group? Somewhere in between? As I said, at some point the actions would define that. They haven't yet.

I respectfully disagree. When BLM protesters carry around signs saying "kill whites", "kill all police", "kill the pigs"... To me, that is hatred exemplified.

When is the last time the KKK burned and looted a city, shut down interstate and I cited violence toward police officers

The KKK is a handful of wackos that are despised by all. Try as hard as some might try they are as irrelevant today as the wig party.

My wife is on the same anti main stream media kick as some of you all, so you know, I am trying here, but when this is what I get three lines in, sorry man. I'll stick with what I know. Sure CNN is watered down now, maybe it's superficial, but at least it's not nonsense.

Just 6 short years ago, sending your child to school with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich was considered parenting, now it's white privilege racism.

The KKK just needs to dry up and go away forever. They have no place in America today.

The Trump campaign dog whistled so many things that the KKK holds dear, we can both hope that was pure cold calculation on his part and as he repeatedly clarified that he seldom meant what he said that ultimately Trump doesn't intend to act on the statements he made while running that have the KKK so thrilled.

Trump supporters really need to own the platform they bought into. It was dark, and it did speak to elements in US society like the KKK.

But white separatism is alive in America

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.
