Please don't correct people's spelling or grammar. This is am immigration site and English is not the first language of many here, there is no need to be condescending. If that's the way you want to be, you spelled "licence" incorrectly. It's license.

Just fill out the authorization for employment it's free when adjusting through marriage. I have DACA too, and because I already have a valid work permit I have to wait the 150-120 days before I can renew it.. Maybe that is why they didn't submit the work permit

OP, now you're saying your fiancé or spouse wasn't on a work visa but had work authorization through DACA? If she/he entered illegally, DACA won't help with adjustment of status unless she/he was able to obtain advance parole then subsequently left and re-entered the U.S. FYI, DACA will be dead once Trump becomes president.

She never entered illegally, I really don't understand your negativity. She's completely eligible for AOS...besides, that wasn't even my question on here.

Please stop using this site as a means to propagate your political BS & fearmongering.

Thanks to all who helped! We mailed out the i765 & travel form yesterday with receipts, copy of biometrics, all ids & new pics just incase because of 30 day requirement. Here's hoping everything goes smoothly.

Thanks again to the poster who mentioned that the lady probably didn't file her i765 back in June because it wasn't ready to renew yet! That seriously helped so much of our anger & feeling of stupidity. You were right! It wasn't eligible to renew for another few weeks.

(:
