Does my Filipina Fiance need to bring her HS transcripts?

Hello all,

My Filipina Fiance has her Embassy interview scheduled on November 25, 2016 and she has not had the opportunity to go to Leyte to get her High School Transcripts to bring with her to USA once she gets her Visa. Her cousin in Leyte said she would get them for my fiance but I doubt the school will give them to her. We are running out of time. As soon as she gets her visa, my fiance is going to Leyte to say goodbye to her family and she will attempt to get her transcripts while there but we are not sure she can just ask for them and get them in a timely manner. I suspect it will take days if not weeks for her High School to produce them and my fiance won't be in Leyte that long. As soon as she gets back to Manila, we planned for her to fly to USA to complete the K1 process and for us to get married and live here in USA. If there is a long wait for the transcripts, and we decide for her to come here without them, what is the worst case scenario for her if she came to USA and she did not have them?

Any help much appreciated

Thanks!

I wouldn't sweat it too much. It is rather common to have family members or friends to pick up High School or college transcripts for people who have moved over seas.

I doubt she will ever be asked for her High School Transcripts but it would be good to eventually have a copy. And yes I am sure if she tries to get them it will take a few weeks and be a major ordeal.

I don't really see a worse case if she came here and didn't have HS transcripts

Transcripts are not needed for any process, which includes the visa, AOS or ROC. Employment possibly but most times not necessary. So don't sweat it. Have a family member pick it up in her absence and email it to you as an attachment.

That is not true

Your answer could be helpful if you expand a little more and explain how you arrived at your conclusion. Your answer In its present form is not going to help the OP much.

High school transcripts aren't of much value. College transcripts are good to have once in the USA, there are companies that are used for this.

..but has nothing to do with the visa process.

Chinook has never needed her high school transcript. However, she needed her college transcript when she applied for the NCLEX-RN. In that case, the transcript had to be sealed. Chinook's college sent the sealed transcript directly to CGFNS. Chinook's sister requested the transcripts from the college. I don't remember whether Chinook gave her sister a letter of permission to request the transcript. She probably did.
