Some embassies allow people to schedule K1 interviews. This is not the case in Ghana. They will send you a letter stating a day and time to come to the embassy for your packets. When my hubby and I applied for a K1, the letter was mailed to my home in the US. I scanned the letter, sent it to my then fiancé, and on the designated day of the week he took it to the embassy. Some say the beneficiary receives a letter, but that is rare.

How long have you been waiting? It took about 2 months from when the case left the NVC for us to receive the letter. I know it's tough.

Everyone wants to be done quickly. Try to be patient and focus on things like preparing your evidence and quizzing your fiancé. Ghana is a tough embassy and you have to be prepared for anything.
