long story short, I came to NY on a K1 visa in February and we will have our AOS interview in about 4 weeks (December 14th). The question is, if it is OK to travel overseas the very next day after the interview? I already have my EAD / AP combo card. I was just wondering, if I will get back my passport straight after the interview and maybe to get an additional stamp in it?

So far I have not used my AP card for traveling overseas as I was not sure how smooth the process is to enter the US again.

We are pregnant with twins and we are due in February / March 2017. I wanted to take the chance to see my family / friends in Germany for 5 days before the babies are born (my wife is encouraging me to do this trip). To book a flight in January would be to risky for us as I think it would be too close to our DUE - day.

All your comments concerning the AOS interview procedure are totally appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Frank
