That's what NVC told me. We are going to Thailand for 3 weeks in December so it's possible I will need to reschedule it unless it is toward the end of the month.

from what I've seen on other timelines, usually an interview is scheduled 1 or 2 months from case completed.

Thank you everyone. I just called them and they told me that my case was completed on November 4th, 2016. Now they have forwarded my case to my local US Embassy, and I'm waiting for them to schedule me for an interview.

Congratulations. I have added you to the spreadsheet.

Wow gregcrs2, how did you manage to do the NVC period for your case review in such a short time? The estimates they gave me are all above 6 weeks, but you've managed to get through in a really short amount of time? How did you manage such magic? :D

My case was also done quickly, gregcrs2 and I are both able to opt for the email (electronic) processing, and that is way quicker then mail processing.

I know it is unfair on some people, but only a few selective cities that the NVC has permitted on the electronic processing.

Ah not at all - I never said it was unfair. You're both very lucky to be able to do that! :-)

I only wish the same could be done on our end, heh! How would one check regarding electronic processing? Just to see if that's something available, perhaps!

Nevermind! Found out by being less of a lazy bum and searching better, hah. ;-) See here, for anyone interested.

I know you don't think it's unfair, but I think so. This immigration stuff is really important to all of us, and I just think why some cities are permitted and some are not.

I found that out on the nvc.state.gov, and click on the Submitting Documents to NVC.

Hi evalili,

Do you mean by electronic processing that you send the AOS document by email and the IV documents by a separate email?

I have submitted mine last week by email also.

You send both in one email.

Due to file size limits under 5MB, I've sent two separate emails for AOS and IV. I hope this will not cause delay.

I hope for your sake that it doesn't cause delays, but I'm guessing the requirement is the same as for paper postage, all in one package with one cover letter.
