Val, I recently had a friend post on FB that she drove from CA to RI. On her road trip, she reported seeing thousands of Trump signs, and three Hillary signs. She thought Trump would win, but I didn't agree. I really felt like Hillary had enough big money backing to take the electoral votes. Turns out I was wrong.

I like some of what Bernie was preaching, but like many who understand how things roll in this country, I never heard a good idea on where the money would come from to pay for the Healthcare and education that was going to be made available to everyone. How would it get funded? I mean, the US government already projects that social security will run out of money by 2033. Why is that? We worked, we paid in... why don't we get to take out? Where did my money go? How can the US just magically create education money, without taking away from other programs?

not that it matters, but bernie explained where that money would come from. i'm sure you remember, there was a time where the youth of america had fairly inexpensive higher learning choices AND vocational choices. this hasn't been the case for quite some time. and it's driving the class wedge in the upcoming generation, between the haves and the have nots, in a predestined manner.

No matter who you voted for or what ditch you slide into, I am proud of President elect Trump and President Obama and even Hillary for all acting like adults and moving forward with class.

I second. I was very impressed with Trump's acceptance speech all things considered. Hillary took her time to concede but when she finally did it was also very appropriate, and Obama has also been reasonable. I can't help but wonder how awkward that meeting between him and Trump must have been, but they are doing their best.

Obama's a very good diplomat. It's a learned skill, and he's definitely had a good eight years to perfect it. Trust me, as POTUS he's had conversations with far more extreme and bigoted leaders than Trump. Anyway, it is really refreshing to see everyone acting like mannered adults. Maybe everyone is just sobering up, which is a good thing for all across the political spectrum after the hysteria of this election.

Until you have been in South Korea and seen a silent protest where all protestors do is sit and hold a candle, never getting in the way of commerce, then you have not seen peaceful.

LA Times headline: "Dozens arrested, police cars damaged in second night of anti-Trump protests in California"

Sound peaceful to you?

"In Los Angeles, 29 people were arrested overnight for impeding traffic when hundreds of protesters poured onto the 101 Freeway downtown, LAPD officials said."

Sound peaceful to you?

Give me a break.

I've seen this. Quite impressive.

Compare that to today, when teachers are telling students whose parents voted for Trump that they are bad people, and that they are ruining America. Way to go, teachers. Great lesson to teach our youth.

Sure. I can hope that too. But I'll certainly say people spray painting swastikas with pro Trump messages on property, threatening people on the street, scrawling hate speech on school property, kids taunting their schoolmates, and other such stuff also helps to contribute to an overall feeling of unrest. Even before Trump was elected a group of kids (parents very much pro Trump) went through our town and the town park - defacing buildings, property, American flags, cars, etc with swastikas and Trump messages. Their last little act was to throw bricks through the windows of our Messianic center and set a playground on fire.

About three days before the election someone nailed Trump signs all over the local church. Let me tell ya, that pastor was furious.

And yet, YOU said Cher was a supreme being. Which kinda shocked me when I read it, but I figured it was a sign of your mental state the past 24 hours, and let it go. ;)

I like Cher's music, thought she was a good singer. And my dad got to see her nekkid in her bedroom, so she has a spot in my heart forever. :)

thanks. i love cher, it's a nostalgia thing for me. she'll always be relevant to me. but, i don't believe in supreme beings. enlightened maybe, but not supreme.

realistically, any celebrity that moves to another country will still be in the spotlight, we'll still hear about when they drunk tweet or have relationship issues. this is just the reality of hollywood and the nwo

I know higher education is ridiculously expensive. About to start paying for my daughter's college, so believe me, I know! However... Bernie never presented a plan that made sense to me. It may have started out ok, but without higher taxes, it simply wasn't self-sustaining. (Or cutting other programs and moving $$$ to education)

I paid my own way thru college. Yeah, it was cheaper when I went, but I also made a lot less back then. It can be done, if one is willing to do it. I am all for more financial aid other than student loans. I just don't want to pay for it myself. Call me selfish, but I paid for mine, I shouldn't have to pay for your kids' education.

not that it matters, but bernie explained where that money would come from. i'm sure you remember, there was a time where the youth of america had fairly inexpensive higher learning choices AND vocational choices. this hasn't been the case for quite some time. and it's driving the class wedge in the upcoming generation, between the haves and the have nots, in a predestined manner.

Obama IS a good diplomat, and a good speaker. I'll give him that. But also remember that we are only privy to what "they" want us to see. When the cameras are not rolling for us, no telling what is being said or done. I'm sure it's not all roses and daisies up there in the Oval Office. And for sure not in Hillary's arena. I can only imagine what her SS agents are having to deal with the past couple of days.

Obama's a very good diplomat. It's a learned skill, and he's definitely had a good eight years to perfect it. Cher, as it happens, stated unequivocally, that were Trump to win, she would go to Jupiter. She ought to leave immediately. I hope that she knows that there, given the gravity, she would weigh in at about a robust 300lb's. It's cold, -250 degrees, so pack your woollies Cher. It's windy, 384 mph, so plenty of hairspray. Off you go then.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Now I don't support violent protests after a presidential election regardless of who gets elected and who I voted for (I did not vote for him).

That being said, if you are right and it was "prepared", that would imply they (Move On/Soros/The men behind the curtain) knew she would lose? I would be surprised by that. I guess they could have "prepared" just in case.

They were prepared. There were only two options.
