Checking case status for green card and getting validation error

I been checking on my case status since I enter the states and each time the site keep giving me error. do any one get errors?

You mean with your IOE number that you get after paying the immigrant fee? Then an error is normal if you try to track with USCIS case status. It SHOULD tell you when the card goes into production but you might not get anything before that. Mine says payment received but not everyone's works like that.

What do you mean? when I paid for the for fee it shows how long they were supposed to send it but after I entered in the states the website started to give errors. is there any other way to track it?

You can call the number that it gives you and generally a tier 2 rep can tell you where it is in processing but they say to give it 45 days before calling about it.

Thanks for sharing. Couple of questions. Did you pay your fee prior to arrival in the US or after? If after, how long after your arrival did you pay the fee? Also, when they say "card is being produced"... how long does that message stay on before the card is actually sent out?

I paid two weeks before POE. The status just changed recently. Will update as it changes.

Doesn't make sense to count the days before I came to the US. There is no action on the production of the green card until you come to the US. Coming through immigration starts the process.

I actually didn't know that. I thought paying in advance (prior to US entry) would actually give it a bit of a kick start.

Today, status changed to "card mailed to my address". I'm assuming it will get here in about a week based on how long it took for all other correspondences from USCIS to reach me in the past.
