Im submitting my 129f packet soon and - I assume I am to include a COPY of my birth certificate? When I got my passport, they DID want my real birth certificate (not a copy)...

Can someone help me out? Do I need to send my original? And what about my passport? Do I need to photocopy the page that has my pic/info or send my real passport in my packet as well? I know that sounds dumb but I need to be clear.. Do I send my original real birth certificate and passport with our packet to the Texas lockbox?

You need both copies of birth certificate AND passport.

For the birth certificate you also need to include a translation if the original language is not English (you need to request a translation from a proper translator, can't be you that translate).

Never send original documents as you won't get them back, copies are fine.

Only the birth certificate OR passport is needed to establish citizenship, not both.
