10 July 2006--signed I-485 and I-765

25 July 2006 recieved NOA-1 for both

18 Aug 2006 Biometrics Appt.

21 Oct 2006 EAD arrives in mail

26 Dec 2006 received aapt.->01 Feb 2007 AOS interview->CANCELLED! rescheduled 01 Aug 2007-waiting

09 Feb '07-received denial of AOS--#######??!! MTR filed--Interview-01 Aug 07

27 Sept '07-I-765 [#2] filed--14 Nov '07 Biomerics for I-765 [#2]

Take it from me....GO TO THE AOS INTERVIEW DATE ANYWAY!!!!! EVEN IF YOU GET THE SNAIL MAIL NOTICE!!!

August 2009--Permanent Resident Card arrives!!!!

We are Finished with Immigration for 10 years!!!!

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

Its not payday for me until next Friday. POOH. Oh well. I am just bouncing waiting for this day to be over. I will have a 5 day weekend! WOOT!

Had some excitement leaving work last night. I was walking the several block haul to where I park my car. I'm about half way there, just crossing the street and I was actually walking alone when a guy comes RUNNING across the street. He tries to go in the building I was walking up to and a cop comes running up behind him, throws him on the ground and sits on him. As he's cuffing the guy, I'm standing there all stupid like a deer in the headlights and thinking "Um, this may not be a good place to be," so I step off the curb to go around and a cop car comes SCREAMING up the curb and I had to literally jump out of the way. There are more cop cars coming and I'm just freaking out. (Sidebar: No, the dude wasn't Muslim. See other thread. hahahaha) The workers from the building are all coming out to see what's going on and a bunch of them start singing "Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do... whatcha gonna do when the come for you?" :blink: Oh, I just adore working downtown... NOT.

I took the day off work, and it's pouring rain.

Oh well good for the garden.... and at least I'm getting some housework done.

It's payday but who needs the bank.... I have direct deposit :yes:

I get paid weekly now, though at that last job it was monthly which SUCKED!!!

Yum...just had Panera's chicken noodle soup with one of their sourdough rolls. Got a HUGE soda and picked up some cold medicine and a 6 pack of that orange vitamin water. Anyone ever put that stuff in the freezer? OMG it is soooo good when it gets all slushy!!! Hopefully I'll kick this thing before we leave for Disney!! 15 more days till the big black rat!!!! Just booked us to see Cirque de Soleil the first night we get there too. Can't wait 'cause I've never seen it. Between that and dinner at Wolfgang Puck's it's gonna be a good start to the vaca! :dance::dance:

Wow Jean you sure lead an exciting life!! :lol: Maybe you should move to Seattle where it's much calmer. Might settle your nerves a bit.

I am trying to get over whatever you all gave me :P Just glad I have a few days off. Finally got my car fully repaired from the accident. My roommates are moving out and i'm so happy. I was a bit stressed with the short notice but after talking with Omar and a friend I realized it was just time and everything will be ok.

Got Omar registered for ESL classes to start next month. Looking forward to a peaceful weekend with no noisy roommates! Omar on the other hand has a stack of pants that want some attention calling HIS name.

I knew somebody'd mention direct deposit... Unfortunately the agancies I work for dont have it, all but 1 anyway. So either I pick it up or they mail it to me. But the med transcrptn from home goes str8 to the bnk!

Friday is just about history here in Morocco. Im going to watch a movie while Abdel is working, or maybe its gonna be watchin me.................. <_< He gets off at 7am which means he'll be here 'round about 8 :clock:
