Ok I just have to vent and maybe this information will help some of you...

i just got my scheduled call back from a tier 2 ... I was calling yesterday to find out why I never received an update on my service request I was supposed to hear back on by September 11.

Anyway the lady kindly informed me that the reason I haven't heard anything and that my case is still processing (nov 21) was because I had my foreign address listed instead of my American one. Of course no one bothered to let me know this months ago and she made it sound like I would have already been approved if I had made this change. I never assumed this could have even been a problem as I received my initial noa1 at my Japanese address without issue. She informed me that I should have an approval within 15 days though I'll take that with a grain of salt. So if any of you have a foreign address listed I suggest calling to ask if that could be the hold up.

I'm so beyond fed up and frustrated with this entire process.

I changed my address in the states and when I went to check on the app, it was like everything was erased including when I checked it online. I called, no help whatsoever. Moving on to the ombudsman because this is ridiculous. It'll be 30 days since my last inquiry next week. So that will put us 60 days behind processing

And they haven't updated this page since June 30, 2017. It's supposed to be updated around the 15th of each month. And yet we are seeing other filers get approved before us??? Is the paperwork sitting on someone's desk who quit??

If you look at the bottom it was updated last on August 16,2017

Hey mine is also PD Nov 7 for I-130. I got a mail for an interview last month. You sure you did not get the mail?

No we did not get anything in the mail, my husband checks it every day... He lives in the US, I live abroad. We would not get an interview directly, we first need to get the approval for the I-130 and then we proceed to the NVC phase and then our case will be sent to the consulate in the Netherlands where I will have an interview (eventually, some time in 2018?).

Apparently it's the blanket response they are sending out. Our inquiry was 08/12/17 same response:

The status of this service request is:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that your case is currently pending adjudication. However, we have had to perform additional reviews on your case, and this has caused a longer processing time.

We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.

Hey Sundee! I hope all is well with you too. Head is up...just glad I got some kind of response even though it was 10 days after the time frame they originally gave me. I just know that this is only the first part of the journey when there shouldn't be any delays. Usually most people end up waiting for approval AFTER the interview! Usually it is AP. So the 10 months of waiting for the initial I-130, just shows you that it can be another year before my husband is with me in the USA. We are looking into alternatives now.
