Oh okay. I did not know this. Alright interview it is then. One more month before interview. That means we have to wait maybe 90 days to get a response.. Probably will get a response the day of if we are lucky.

Just to clarify, I got the notice through mail. I never received any updates online. For those of you who are waiting, maybe that is what's happening to your cases too.

No.. this is an interview to get I-130 approved. So it's actually much slower than getting I-130 approved without interview.

I have contacted two senators from oregon. We only got a response from the senator from the local area where my husband is a resident. He has forwarded our letter to a congressman to try and help us. I haven't heard anything yet. it's been 1 week. I think the senator from your area has more of an interest in your situation than one from another state. But definitely worth a try.

Hi guys, this is the response I got from the senator. I thought I would share for any of those trying to take the same route. This is a snapshot of the email.

Hang in there! I've received my response in 295 days. You will probably receive one around 295 days too or earlier!!!

Well I'm happy to see that the senator responded but the NSC lied to him as we all hear from others that their cases are approved and they filed later then we did.

NSC does not process in the order they received. That story is a crock of s.....

What a cover up. 18 months OMG

No Amber87 was saying that the senator from her city/state contacted uscis and uscis informed the senator that its taking 18 months. This gets more stressful every moment..

I know,  that 18 months part hurt to read .. Let's hope that is misinformation or that 18months is worst case scenario....
