Still nothing! Filed our i130 Nov 2,2016!

It went to Nebraska 👎🏻

Started an inquiry, have to wait until Aug 28 for the response.

i cannot believe how terrible this entire experience has been. If it's not approved soon, im going to Canada to be with my husband. I see the website says they are working on Nov 26 filers which seems fishy as they haven't completed the nov 2 ones. I was very patient in the beginning but now I'm re considering a move to Canada to start my paperwork. We have an attorney who prepared all of our paperwork. No criminal history on either side, nothing hiding, just basic paperwork which was filed and all in order. I can't believe USCIS operates their business this way. Nothing good to say about them, the lack of efficient workers is causing extreme financial hardship and emotional trauma to my family.

So sorry to hear you are still waiting... There is nothing we can do unfortunately :-( I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

GREAT idea!!

Filed nov 2,2016. 286 days and nothing! My husband is from Canada and is there until this bs is completed! No criminal history! Nothing exciting about our lives. So sick of waiting for some bs excuse as to what is taking so long! I see cases after ours being approved. I'm down to start drinking with y'all soon👍🏻

Oh that is such a long time to wait 😔 This is crazy. I don't know what you guys were told in the beginning, but the us embassy in Australia told me the process in its entirety was 3-6 months... I made important life plans and decisions around this false information unfortunately.. 😔 I wish I had known how long it really takes. Do any of you ever wonder if we took the right/quickest route to getting this visa to live in the US with our spouses? Like should we have gone there as a tourist and applied to adjust status once there? I noticed on the I-130 form it asked whether I was already in the USA, and that's when it got me thinking, could I have been 🤔🤔

It has pros and cons. My husband is with me in the United States so that's good because I get to be with him. The bad thing is... while I-130 is pending, he doesn't have his work authorization so he can't work legally in the United States which leaves me being the only person working. Good thing is that I got a pretty good job and can support the both of us. I can see this as a con for the couple that can't just depend on one person financially especially in the Bay Area.

Thanks for sharing. I guess now that we have already filed from outside of the US I can't come in as a tourist as they already know my intention is to live their permanently... 🤔 We would have been fine financially with only one of us working, so in retrospect I wish we had taken that route. Ah well we live and learn 😔

Not even 24hours after you posted in the group and you got the good news 😂😂😂😂lol priceless 👌🏻😊🤗🤗....I'm happy for you, congrats to you and your husband🎉🎉🎈🎈....was it single application or you guys filed for i129f too ? 🙂 They received our case at Nov 4th 2016 and i129f at Nov 17th 2016 and still nothing.... we have our days when we are like what to do , we got to wait and days like come onnnnn why they taking so long smh....we been together for lil more than 3 years and in marriage 1 year already....I just want to finally meet his family in person, because he met a lot of mine and it's normal to want that right....his lil sister died from cancer and I wasn't there to meet her before that happened because they denied my travel visa back in 2015, I was working and studying and I didn't know why they did not approve me that visa, because it was obvious I need to return home because of my obligations....I was crying for a long time because of it and still makes me sad when I think I never had chance to meet her....now, his dad has health problems and I'm scared that something might happened by then because this visa process is taking too long....I pray to God to give me strength and peace , to believe in this process , that everything is going to be fine....to stay strong in faith....for you too, for the rest of your process to be way faster than this first one, and for all of rest of us end October to middle November to receive good news soon....🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

Congrats for the approval MTHUNDER! Good to see earlier November filers getting approved! I'm sorry  tejts, 😔😔😔this wait is hard 😔 I missed my husbands best friends funeral because of this wait.. and we tried to expedite based on compelling/compassionate grounds but with no success. Did you try to expedite for your reasons? You will be getting approved soon! stay positive as hard as it seems sometimes! this tough time will pass ❤️🙏

Congrats MTHUNDER! I'm really sad to see you guys have to miss a lot just because of the wait. My husband is with me so I don't feel so bad, but I am now afraid that my husband will have to miss an important event because he can't travel :( The wait is tough in many different ways :(
