Hmmm, so far, three of us filed both I-130 and I-129f and one with a single application. No one filing simultaneously with a child. Can't really say if having a I-129f filed is a factor.

I filed just I-130 and nothing else. We are at 271 days and still waiting.

We are at 254 days and only the I-130 application. Is your DH in another country or with you here in the US? I know that each one of our cases are different. There has to be a reason for such a long time. It's hard regardless... I have one more month before I am flying over to see my husband. I tried to hold out, but it's almost a year. That's too long for me!

My husband is in the US with me maybe that's why it is taking longer, but then again, he can't work in the US now so it is hard for us too cuz I am the only one providing for now.

Ah ok I understand. You can fax it too, there is a fax number on the form. I faxed mine then sent the originals by mail a few days later.

How quick are they usually in responding?  And did that help with getting your I-130 approved?

Ok. Yes it does take a bit longer with change of status. You are lucky he is with you. I am thinking our case is taking longer because my husband is from Pakistan but lives and works in Spain. He is a permanent resident there and I wouldn't mind moving there but we decided it would be easier for him to come here because of my job and I have a house here.

It took like three weeks. They were unable to help because when I sent it I wasn't outside normal processing time. You are so they many be able to assist you. They did tell me if I needed an expedite send the proof to them and they'd have their Congressional supervisory until look at it to see if I qualify. I didn't bother as I heard they are hard to get approved

How do you find out if you out of processing time?

Usually when you have waited for more than 6 months. Or when you check the processing times online for the center your case is at, and that day is after your PD date.
